That all sounds pretty superfluous to me, all I want to do is get coaster building.Īnyway, Planet Coaster got quite a big run out over Gamescom, with Frontier Developments publishing a whole string of videos taking players through various aspects of theme park management. The standard game will set you back £26.99 / $24.99 (curse you, Brexit), or you can cough up £29.99 / $39.99 for the Thrillseeker Edition which comes with a digital soundtrack, sketchbook, in-game hat and shirt, and beta access. Planet Coaster will launch on November 17th worldwide and players will be able to pre-order from August 25th. It’s always looked the best of the bunch and now it’s got a release date to pencil into your calendars. After the disappointment of RollerCoaster Tycoon World and the admittedly-promising-but-still-a-long-way-to-go Parkitect, attentions turn back to Planet Coaster.
